Accent on Homes is a small - medium sized building company operating predominantly in the greater Perth (Western Australia) metropolitan area.
We generally build in the greater Perth metropolitan area; the actual extent however may change from time to time subject to the current and future known workloads and industry trends.
(Some areas on the extremes of the building area may incur an area loading charge or may be excluded from time to time - subject to current workloads and availability of trades.)
Accent builds new homes for clients predominantly on an individual design basis although we do have a vast range of floor plans that have been developed over the years and would be available as either a preferred design or perhaps the basis for your own home.
We build homes in most styles and prices up to around $600,000 (AUD). We are happy to work with your subdivided rear or split block to design a compact double storey home for you and right up to a large single or double storey family home on your acreage or classic quarter acre.
In addition to the normal building to different stages of completion that we as with most builders offer, Accent on Homes will also build homes to lock up stage which allows people who have contacts or skills to complete their home in their own schedule and with their own trades or contractors. We pride ourselves on being able to work closely with our clients listening to their wants and needs toward the development of what usually results in a unique new design specifically tailored to the client.
Whilst the company name is Accent on Homes, we generally market under the banner of Central Avenue Homes (a trading name owned by Accent on Homes). The company is a wholly owned family business with the only shareholders and directors being a husband and wife team. Both sons are now taking over an ever evolving role and have worked in the company for over 8 years combined with a view to eventually running the business as their own - so we will be around for a long time.
Greg Grainger (registered builder and Managing Director for the business) has over 30 years experience in the Western Australian construction industry including 20 years in the Perth new homes industry. Greg is a registered builder as well as a qualified carpenter/joiner.
The company has also proudly been a member of the Master Builders Association of Western Australia (MBAWA) since it started trading in 1998.
The compay is also a founding members of Wesbuilders Cooperative (a Western Australian building company buying group) which means we can maintain a competitive edge even though our homes are individual design.
